I will admit, dressing for your Venus is a new concept for me. A TikTok-induced rabbit hole recently introduced me to the idea that aligning your style with your Venus sign, rather than your Sun sign, can help you attract, manifest, and boost your confidence.

Who knew that you could be other signs on other planets? I sure didn't.

As an Aquarius, I never actually felt like I dressed or presented how an Aquarius's wardrobe is typically described. Words like "quirky" or "novel" are commonly used and I always find myself gravitating toward more reserved choices, favoring blacks and neutral colors, clean lines, and muted patterns. Turns out, I'm a Capricorn Venus. And looking at the descriptions of Capricorn, this actually makes a lot of sense.

Tan ≠ Warm:

First things first, let's debunk a common misconception. Having a tan doesn't automatically mean you have warm undertones. Likewise, being fair-skinned doesn't necessarily make you cool-toned. Skin tone and undertones are not always correlated with how much melanin you have.

Cool Undertones and Silver Shine:

Here's the trick, check your wrist! If the veins on the inside of your wrist look blue or purple, you've got cool undertones! Silver and colorless metals like stainless steel and rhodium can work wonders for you. They have a brightening effect, enhancing the natural radiance of your skin. On the flip side, yellow gold can sometimes emphasize any underlying redness.

Warm Undertones Bask in Gold:

Conversely, if your veins appear green or yellow, your undertones lean toward the warm spectrum, and gold and rose gold are your allies. These warm-toned metals complement your yellow undertones, adding a touch of luminosity. White metals, on the other hand, might make you appear a tad washed out.

The Neutral Ground:

If your veins have a mix of blues and greens or if you find it hard to see your veins, you might be one of the lucky ones with neutral undertones! In this case, you're in for a treat. You can effortlessly rock all gold, rose gold, and silver. Neutral skin tones play well with all metal hues, so you don't have to limit your choices.
