Our gold plated jewelry is plated with a thick layer of gold as well as a nano-ceramic coating to further protect your piece.
Gold filled means a thick layer of gold bonded to a brass core. Gold filled jewelry is durable and wears just like solid gold.
Stainless steel and gold filled chain are both very low maintenance and can be easily cleaned with soap and water. No special storage is needed, just avoid wearing your jewelry in chlorine as chlorine can break down the outer layer of stainless steel that protects it from corrosion.
